AVAILABLE! Gomez

Gomez (DOB October 2015 ) is an outgoing boy with a huge personality and he definitely makes his presence known. He is a wonderful family dog and is great with young children.  Gomez tends to be very social and enjoys going on outings.  He can be a little hard to manage in public though, as he must meet all the new people NOW.  Once he’s been acknowledged and gets his pets, he settles right down.

Gomez is absolutely toy crazy and loves them all.  He keeps his collection close by so he can pick and choose which ones to play with.  He also likes playing tug with his people.  Gomez has a surprising amount of energy for his age, but does enjoy lounging around and napping.  Zoomies are still a thing for him, so he requires a fenced yard.

He is dog friendly, but tends to forget his manners at times, especially with larger fur friends.  Any dogs in the home should be patient and tolerant.  Gomez is trustworthy in the home and doesn’t require crating.  He knows some basic obedience commands and is food motivated, which should help with further training.  While he does enjoy walks, his leash manners do need work.  He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

He is fostered in Titusville and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make him a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Gomez or have questions about him or the adoption process, please email Cherie, our adoption coordinator, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
