8/16/16: Bumble has an ADOPTION PENDING!
Bumble is a 6 month old (DOB January 2016) DEAF male Dane; Bumble can see just fine.
Bumble is a normal Dane pup: he has loads of energy and plays nonstop and when he is tired he loves to cuddle.
His favorite game is catch with his Kong and could play that for hours! He is still learning manners and does fairly well on a leash and is learning hand signals for commands such as sit, down and stay.
Bumble does have some skin issues, which are not uncommon for “white” dogs and he seems to do best on a limited ingredient diet and medication.
He is currently being fostered with an adult female Dane and an adult male Rhodeisan Ridgeback and Bumble loves playing with whoever will play with him! Bumble is crate trained and house broken.
We do want his forever home to have another young & playful larger sized dog to keep Bumble happy; we feel deaf dogs do best when they have a hearing dog in the home. A fenced yard is a must as he needs the safety it provides. For homes with children, Bumble can be a bit mouthy so a home with older/teenage children is better suited; small children are not recommended.
