Vida

Vida was adopted by Shauni –  June 2019

Vida (DOB Feb. 2017) is a black female with cropped ears, weighing about 110 pounds.  Vida came into rescue when her owner had a career change that took her away from the home for long periods of time.  She was mostly raised as a single dog and is happiest when she is the only dog in the home.  She is currently being fostered with a super mellow mastiff mix male dog and Vida still feels the need to boss him around from time to time.  Vida is not overly comfortable in public settings, it seems she spent most of her time at home with her family.    She loves to play and run in the yard and will need a fenced in yard; she is not well suited for dog parks.

She previously lived with an 8 year old child so we would consider a home with older children for Vida.

Vida is crate trained and housebroken as well she is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and heartworm tested negative and on a monthly prevention.
