Draco

Adopted, May 2022

Draco is a 2 year old (DOB January 2020) black male with a happy disposition and a gentle nature. He is inquisitive about his surroundings and displays a puppy-like fascination with things that catch his eye.
This boy has an unusual love of all things water. He enjoys splashing around in the lake at his foster home, playing in water from the garden hose and is even good with bathing. Draco also likes zooming around the yard with his foster brother and playing with his squeaky toys. Draco is social boy and would appreciate having another dog buddy in the home to wrestle and zoom with. He also requires a fenced yard with room to run. Draco tends to be overly interested in the neighboring horses and can be very exuberant during play. For safety reasons, small dogs and cats are not recommended.
He knows basic obedience, walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides. He is food motivated and learns quickly. Draco has been resistant to crate training and gets anxious when crated. It is not required, as he has proven trustworthy in the home.
Draco is an affectionate boy that attaches quickly and deeply to his people. He would greatly benefit by having them around more often than not. As he has not had much contact with children, any kids in the home should be older.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
