Jazzie

Adopted, April 2024

Jazzie (DOB May, 2020) is the perfect mix of affectionate cuddler and independent gal.  She’s always ready for love and pets, but is also content entertaining herself or lounging around and observing the goings on.  Jazzie has a moderate energy level and enjoys playing with her favorite snake toys.  When outdoors, she makes good use of the yard for zoomies.  She also loves to play fetch and even tosses the ball for herself when her people are busy.  She will a fenced yard.

Jazzie is a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly.  She has also enjoyed the public outings she has attended and is always ready for a ride in the car.  Jazzie is gentle with other dogs and would be happy to have a playmate with a similar play style.  She is also cat friendly and good with children.

She is not destructive and does not require crating.  She really likes her snacks though and will help herself to any tasty treats left on the counter.  Jazzie knows some basic obedience and her love of food will be helpful with further training.  She enjoys daily walks and is great on leash.  She happily trots right alongside you and really likes having your hand rest on her head.  Jazzie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

She is fostered in Cocoa and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the $20 processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Jazzie or have questions about her or the adoption process, please contact our adoption coordinator, Cherie, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
