Meet Dixie! Dixie is a sweet 5 year old (DOB July 2010) merle female Great Dane who likes naps on the couch & gets along well with everyone, including other dogs and small children. She was turned into rescue after her owner could no longer care for her. She has mild skin disease, needs to be spayed & is heartworm positive. We are addressing the skin disease and heart worm currently; once recovered we will spay her and then she will be ready for her own family! Dixie is house broken and crate trained but not destructive when not crated. Before adoption she will be spayed and brought up to date on vaccines. Until then its TLC (and heart worm treatment) for this lady!
