Hamlet

ADOPTED June 2023

Hamlet is a 2 year old (October, 2020) brindle boy that loves playing with toys and lounging on the couch near his people. He’s extremely chill indoors, but once outside his energy level rises and he loves to run and explore. Hamlet frequently patrols the fence line and tends to bark at people passing by, though he’s easily called off. He would be best suited to a home with a spacious yard and with limited or tolerant neighbors. He also requires a 6 foot fence in populated areas, but would likely be okay with 5 foot fencing on acreage.

He enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to have a buddy to zoom around the yard with. Hamlet is also cat friendly and has been non-reactive to a duck nesting on the property of his foster home. He is obsessed with lizards though and is dedicated to keeping his family safe from the little marauding reptiles roaming the yard.

While Hamlet has a perpetually grumpy face, he’s actually a sweet, affectionate boy. He’s not overly clingy and is happy to entertain himself when you are busy. He has done very well at social events and enjoys making new friends. Hamlet is exceptionally well mannered and knows a number of obedience commands. He is crate trained, but is very trustworthy in the home. He has great leash manners and likes going on walks. Hamlet also enjoys the company of children and would be a great addition to an active family.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
