Bliss

Bliss was adopted by the Warrington Family, November 2019

Bliss is a spry petite senior merlequin female, DOB May 2008. She came into rescue due to soon to arrive newborn child, so no fault of hers! Bliss is a very sweet girl with an even temperament.  She has adjusted very well to her foster home and the two Danes in the home however we are working on cats as she likes to chase them.  Likely a home without cats would be best for everyone involved.

We were told that she was very pushy, wanted a lot of attention and frequently had accidents in the home. Since coming into rescue she has had 1 accident. She does like attention but is not overly pushy and will listen to commands to sit or lay down when you would like her to. She has fully mobility and can get around on hard wood surfaces. She is crate trained but isn’t destructive so it isn’t necessary to crate her. She’s not much for counter surfing but loves feeding time and treats! She has shown no food aggression with her foster siblings.

She enjoys play time with her foster sister and is vocal and will let her know when she has had enough. She just chills with her foster brother as he is a calm, cool guy to begin with.

Bliss has no known background with children so we would consider homes with older children, 8+ years or older.   She’s a beautiful girl with a wonderful spirit. You would never know her age to look at her or watch her in action.

Bliss is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative as well as a joint supplement.
