Mariah

Adopted by the Dressbach family, December 2023

Mariah (DOB August, 2021) is a lively girl that is all about having a good time.  She loves the company of other dogs and requires a large playmate to help her burn off some of her energy.  As she’s a rough and tumble kind of gal, her canine companion should have a similar energy level and style of play.  She tends to be too rowdy with small dogs and cats, so a home without any is best.

While Mariah is sweet and affectionate, she tends to feel most comfortable with women.  She is shy around men and can often be barky.  She is also tentative in new situations and is happiest staying at home.  Her people must be dog-savvy and need to be patient with her quirks.  Mariah is best suited for a household with an established routine and with someone generally around.  She’s well-behaved with children and is recommended for kids age 12 and up.

Mariah is trustworthy when left alone and doesn’t require crating.  She still needs some work on obedience commands and leash manners.  While her attention span is short and having fun is a priority, she does learn quickly when focused.  She will require a fenced yard.

She is spayed and gastropexied, current on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
