Marley

Adopted June 2021, Heim Family

Marley is a fawn male with some merle (DOB March 2020) new to rescue. He came into rescue with bilateral eye infections and double cherry eyes. His cherry eyes have been surgically corrected.

Marley is a wonderful pup however his previous family did not socialize him outside of the home and he is scared and unsure of the world outside of his foster home.
He currently is not the type of dog that you can take out in public – he just does not enjoy it.
That said he is good with cats and other large dogs however we don’t know how he is with small dogs. Likely okay with the exception of rough/size appropriate play.
He does require a fenced yard and a dog buddy or two as he really looks to them for confidence and needs the exercise from playing.

Marley will be okay with kids about 5 or older, knowing he can be nervous while transitioning/new situations.
Does fine in a crate but not necessary as he has not been destructive when left out.
Mostly housebroken – has the very occasional accident.

Two weeks post op!
