Millie is an approximately 3 year old (DOB July 2012) blue female with natural ears; she is about 115 pounds but needs to gain some weight. Millie spent the first part of her life in a puppy mill, having multiple litters. Thankfully the operation was shut down in July and she came into rescue. Once in rescue she received treatment for some serious skin infections and some well needed and deserved TLC. She is doing okay with crate training and is housebroken. Millie has done fine with all the dogs and cats she has met. Unfortunately due to her background, we have no idea if she has ever been exposed to children and we feel she is bet suited to a home without children. She continues to do well meeting new people. We are guessing she never had much obedience training so we are working with her one simple manners, such as sit and stay, as well as leash walking. She needs continued work in this area! A 6 foot fence is a must with Millie; she can and has gotten over shorter fences.
She is a really loving and sweet dog that likes to snuggle and get all the attention. She would do okay in a home with another dog she can play with or by herself. Millie needs a family that can dedicate love, time and socialization for her to become the dog she should be!
Millie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heart worm tested (negative) and on monthly preventative.
