Maxx

Adopted November 2022 by the Pickelton Family

Maxx is a brindlequin puppy (DOB March, 2022) that is extremely affectionate and enjoys cuddling. He has a moderate energy level and alternates between crazy puppy antics and being a couch potato.  His favorite things are tennis balls, ice cubes and tasty treats.

Maxx is in need of training, as he tends to get mouthy when excited and likes to nibble people. He requires crating when not supervised, as he will get into things and will shred anything paper-like.  Maxx needs a very patient home with Dane experience and someone around frequently. Children should be at least 8 years old and must understand the importance of being calm around him, as he’s very pushy and mouthy when hyped up.

He requires a fenced yard and would benefit from having a large, tolerant companion with a similar activity level. Maxx is easily too much for lower energy dogs, as he tends to be very pushy and obsessive when playing. He is crate trained, though bribery may be necessary at times to get him inside. He also tends to be vocal when he wants out. Maxx is good on leash for his age and enjoys walks. He knows “Sit” and is currently learning “Bed” and “Come”.  He is curious about cats and tries to play with them.

Maxx is current on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.  He will be adopted on a neuter contract.
