Obi

Obi was adopted by the Payne Family, October 2023.

Obi (DOB September 2020) is an extremely affectionate guy that likes to cuddle up with you on the couch. He will also put his head in your lap whenever you sit down. Obi enjoys playing tug and loves squeaky toys. Fetch is a favorite game of his, but only if you throw his toys instead of balls.

Obi is always excited to make new friends. He immediately wants their undivided attention and expects plenty of love and scratches. He rides well in the car and is happy to accompany you on errands or to social events. Obi is a great family dog and is good with children. He bonds deeply to his people and likes to be part of the household activity. As he tends to get anxious when home alone, he needs a family where someone is generally around.

He has a moderate energy level and will require a fenced yard. Being dog friendly, another large companion in the home would be appreciated. He is also great with kitties. Obi is not crate trained, but is well-behaved in the home. He knows limited obedience commands and basic grooming (baths, nails, ear cleaning) is very well tolerated. Obi enjoys regular walks and has good leash manners.

He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
