Nala

Meet Nala, a 2 year old (DOB June 2014) spayed fawn female. Nala literally means “tall drink of water” and this girl is a tall beauty!
She was underweight, nervous and needing some care for ongoing skin issues. In about a months’ time we have made progress on the skin infection and she has been slowly and steadily gaining weight.
She is becoming a very happy, confident girl and is loving all the new people and dogs she meets. Nala currently lives with an older cat (basically ignores the cat) and another Dane. She does seem to enjoy the other dog in her foster home or even being with the people in the home, so ideally she’d have a family that would be able to give her the attention that she wants. She would likely be okay in a home with older children as she is sometimes nervous around loud/sudden noises. She is very social, loves car rides and has a healthy energy level, though not like a crazy puppy – when it’s time to settle down she’s calm. Nala needs at least a 5’ fence; she could easily clear a 4’ fence if motivated to do so!
She is crate trained and housebroken. Nala is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested (negative) and on monthly preventative.
