AVAILABLE! Montana

Montana (DOB July, 2022) is a sweet natured girl who loves the companionship of her people.  She enjoys being a part of family activities and will follow you throughout the house so she doesn’t miss out on the fun.  Montana is extremely affectionate, loves to lean on you and likes giving hugs.  Couch cuddling and snuggling under blankets are also things she enjoys.

She has a moderate energy level and loves to roughhouse and zoom with her foster sister. She has an affinity for water and likes playing in it.  Montana also has a fondness for toys and likes balls, as well as tugs.  Plushies tend to be her absolute favorite, but they often meet a very traumatic demise.

While Montana likes being a homebody, she does enjoy changing it up a bit with periodic outings around town or a visit to the local dog park.  She can be a bit shy meeting new people at first, but warms up quickly and wants her share of the attention.

Montana is dog friendly and prefers larger dogs that can handle her rough and tumble style of play. She is also great with kids and tends to be very gentle in her dealings with them.  When playing with another dog though, she often forgets her surroundings and smaller children may be trampled or knocked over.

Montana can be sensitive to changes in her environment and is best suited to a household where someone is frequently around.  She is well mannered in the home, crate trained and knows some basic obedience.  Daily walks are something she looks forward to and she has good leash manners.  Montana is cat friendly and requires a fenced yard.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative. She is fostered in Port Orange and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee.
