Izzy Mae was adopted, January 2024
Izzy Mae (September, 2016) is a shy girl that takes a little time to warm up and settle in. Once she’s comfortable in a situation, she just blossoms, wanting endless love and pets. In the home, Izzy Mae is generally laid back, either lounging around or napping on the couch. She has brief periods of playfulness and then she’s back to chilling. Outdoors is where she tends to expend her energy, bouncing around and zooming. She will require a fenced yard.
Izzy Mae loves milk bones, is a messy water drinker and sleeps on her back with her feet in the air. She enjoys shorts walks around the neighborhood, as well as rides in the car. Izzy Mae has a solid history with young children and is cat and chicken friendly. She is good with other dogs and would appreciate having a fur friend in the home for companionship.
She is most comfortable when her people are close and will follow them throughout the house. As she attaches deeply to her family, having someone around frequently is a plus. Being extremely well-mannered and polite in the home, she does not require crating. She has limited obedience training, but has excellent recall and good leash manners.
She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
