Charlie

Charlie was adopted in January 2024 by the Harrison Family.

Charlie (DOB July, 2023) is an energetic boy who is fascinated by the world around him.  He has an inquisitive nature and enjoys exploring his surroundings.  Charlie adores toys of all kinds, enjoys tug games and likes playing fetch with his ball.  Being a young pup, he frequently taste tests whatever fits in his mouth and thinks rocks are chew toys.  It is also his current mission in life to destroy all squeakers.  He will require supervision when out and about to keep him safe until he outgrows this.

Charlie is great in social situations and firmly believes people and other dogs exist solely to give him attention.  He is very dog friendly and is always right in the mix with his foster siblings.  He would benefit from having a large, playful fur friend in the home.  This would help not only to expend his energy, but show him how to get on, as Charlie tends to be a follower.

He is an extremely vocal boy, full of opinions and demands.  When he’s less than pleased, the world will know it.  This sometimes manifests itself when he’s first crated, but he does quiet down and settle in.  Charlie is very smart and has already learned a several commands.  He is doing very well with potty training and is making great progress with his leash manners.

Charlie requires a yard with a 6 foot fence, as he can likely clear anything lower.  He is recommended with older children, as he hasn’t quite mastered where a treat ends and fingers begin. He has had no contact with cats.  Charlie is being adopted on a neuter contract.  He is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

He is fostered in Bradenton and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make him a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee.
