Lucky (DOB March, 2022) adores his people and likes to follow them around the house. He’s very sweet natured and lives for attention. Lucky likes playing with toys and enjoys tug games with his foster sisters. He has a moderate energy level and expends much of it zooming around the yard.
Prior to coming into rescue, he lived a very sheltered life and lacked socialization. His foster home has been working diligently to broaden his horizons and he is making great progress. Lucky has embraced car rides, walks around the neighborhood, meeting new friends and doggy day camp. His ideal family will continue to build on this foundation and work to bolster his confidence. A calm home with an established routine is best, as he can still be a little skittish with changes in the environment.
Lucky is dog friendly and will require a large female companion to pal around with. He will also require a 6 foot fence, as he can jump anything lower with the right incentive. Lucky is well behaved with children and is best with kids age 8 and above. He is not destructive in the home and does not require crating. He may help himself to any tasty snacks left on the counter, so foodstuffs should be put away. Lucky knows a number of obedience commands and has good leash manners on a halti. He has no history with cats.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
