Thor is a two year old (July, 2020) black male. He absolutely adores his people and always needs to be close by. Thor tends to be a pretty chill guy and spends much of his day lounging around or snoozing. He does enjoy daily zoomies with his foster sister and is always ready to engage her in a game of tug. Thor is also a big fan of plushies and proudly parades them around the house.
He loves going places and meeting new people. Being such a social boy, his ideal home would be one that would do things with him and take him places. He has excellent leash manners and is always ready for a walk. Thor enjoys the company of other dogs, but is also okay being your one and only. While not aggressive with cats, he does tend to chase them so a home without any would be best.
Thor is crate trained, but doesn’t require crating as he is trustworthy when left alone. He knows some basic obedience, but would benefit from a little more training. He’s very food motivated, so working with him should be a breeze. Thor does require a fenced yard and a household where someone is generally around. While he’s gentle with children, he can sometimes be unaware of his size. It’s recommended that any kids in the home be at least 7 years old.
He is neutered and gastropexied, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
