Bandit is a 2 year old fawn mantle with a very sweet disposition. He is a true velcro Dane and loves getting attention from his people. Bandit’s favorite thing is to give you butterfly kisses on your nose and ears. He also loves to close doors behind himself when entering a room.
He can be slow to warm up to new people. Once you’re in with Bandit, you’re in for good and he wants all your love and attention. He doesn’t get on the couch or bed and his favorite place to sleep is on the door mat by the front door.
Bandit is very active and enjoys the companionship of other dogs and cats. He can become a little rough during playtime, so his ideal home would have another large dog with a similar style of play. Bandit enjoys his time outside, exploring and rolling in the grass. A fenced yard is required in his new home.
He rides well in the car and is okay on leash with the use of a gentle leader. Bandit knows basic commands, but can be a little inconsistent on follow through. His new family will need to work with him on this. Any children in the home should be at least 10 years old, as he isn’t always aware of his surroundings.
Bandit recently had a vet visit and he was given an A+ on health. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
