Meet Ledger! His foster mom calls him a southern gentleman with a calm demeanor, a couple grey hairs and attitude of class. She also calls him “Amazing” and “Handsome” and we agree!!
Ledger is an 8 year old (DOB October 2008) neutered male. Ledger was turned into rescue after his owners no longer had the time to care for him. He is housebroken and does not chew things up, counter surf or get on furniture – he is a very trustworthy boy.
He enjoys short walks and does wonderful when on leash. He is great about giving you nudges when he needs to go outside. Ledger also is a quite Dane, he does not bark that much and if he does, its likely something important!
He has had regular vet care before coming into rescue; he does have a couple of lumps (our vet checked and said everything is normal) and he is a little shaky but we are trying some joint supplements to see if we can help him.
He does okay with the cats in his foster home and had been fine with any dog he has met; Ledger has done equally well with any people he has met.
Ledger’s favorite things are car rides, treats and naps in the air conditioning!
Ledger is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested (negative) and on monthly preventative.
