Sammie is a 2 year old black female (DOB April, 2021) with a calm demeanor and a gentle nature. She is fairly low energy in the home and can frequently be found lounging on the couch. Sammie does enjoy spending time outdoors and will race around, playing with her foster siblings. She will require a fenced yard.
Sammie is an exceptionally sweet girl and showers her people with affection. She enjoys cuddling and is a great snuggle partner for lazy afternoon naps. She is used to having someone at home with her, so a similar situation would be ideal. Sammie is very social and makes new friends easily. Her history with children is unknown, but she has been gentle and well behaved with the ones she has met. She is dog friendly and wouldn’t mind having a lower energy buddy to pal around with. She has no history with cats.
Sammie is crate trained, but doesn’t require it as she is trustworthy in the home. She knows a number of obedience commands and has good leash manners. Sammie is always ready for a walk and will even bring you her leash, if asked.
She is spayed and gastropexied, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
