Chloe was adopted by Anne and Clay, June 2020
Chloe is a petite mantle girl, weighing about 90 pounds. Chloe was found as a stray with a broken front arm and turned into our rescue. The break was severe and had not been treated and the only option was to amputate the front leg. Chloe has done amazing post op and was walking the day of surgery and is now comfortable running and playing! Since she was a stray we do not have any background information on her or know her age but we are guessing her to be young, maybe 1-2 years old. Chloe is a bit mouthy and has some issues with food aggression that we have been working with her. Due to her unknown background we feel a home with older/teenage children or no children would be better. Her overall manners are a work in progress as she is a counter surfer and loves to jump up on you. She is also a toy hoarder and loves to take any toy she finds as “special” into her crate with her!
She has done fine with the male Great Dane in her foster home and can be a little bit chasey and rough with small dogs and cats so a home without either would be best. Someone experienced with Danes or someone with a strong training/obedience background would be her ideal home. We currently keep her weight lean due to being a tripod and feel that is the best for her.
Chloe is crate trained and housebroken as well she is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm tested negative and on a monthly prevention.
