Adoption pending! Cami

Cami (DOB June, 2024) is a playful girl that is obsessed with toys.  She loves anything that squeaks and is often inspired to accompany said squeaking with soulful harmonic song.  She also enjoys gorilla wood chews, but plush toys are her absolute favorite.  Unfortunately, she’s a master of dismemberment, so they quickly meet an untimely demise.

As is typical with dogs her age, she has an abundance of energy interspersed with long naps.  During her more quiet moments, she will seek you out for attention and climb into your lap for some cuddle time.  She tends to tread all over you before getting comfortable, but will then settle down to enjoy your undivided attention.

Cami is dog friendly and engages her foster siblings in games of chase and tug, as well as wrestling and bitey face.  A large, playful dog buddy would definitely be a plus.  This would not only provide her with companionship, but an outlet for her energy.  She is also cat friendly and has shown signs that she may be compatible with livestock.

She tends to be a social girl and loves to make new friends.  She is also very confident in social settings and enjoys going on adventures outside the home.  Road trips are always cause for excitement and she rides well in a vehicle.  Walks tend to be the highlight of her day and she has reasonably good leash manners.

Cami does have a tendency towards mischief (think shoes and TV remotes), so crating is required when she is home alone.  While she crates easily, she isn’t always happy and will vocalize for a while before settling down.  It would probably be best if her household had someone home more often to minimize her crate time. Cami knows some basic obedience and learns new things fairly quickly.  She has no history with children, but would likely be okay with older kids.  Cami requires a fenced yard with fence height a *6 feet*.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative. She is fostered in Ocala and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee.
