Meet Ellie Mae, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! At 11 years young, this dignified dame brings a whole lot of love and loyalty to the table. Ellie Mae’s spirit remains as lively as ever, especially when it comes to spending quality time with her favorite people. Despite her past, Ellie Mae’s resilience shines and her undying devotion and affectionate nature shine through.
Due to her advanced age and heartworm disease, GDLCF and our veternarian agreed that the most appropriate course is to let Ellie Mae live a comfortable life. We are not pursing heartworm treatment or spaying and she is staying in rescue as a foster hospice dog.
