AVAILABLE! Foster/Hospice – Dazzle

♥️Special Placement Needed♥️

Dazzle came into rescue as a stray and is estimated to be 9 years old.  She was found in a rural area living inside a burrow under a downed tree.  She also had a litter of 6 newly birthed pups that came into rescue along with her.

Once Dazzle was vetted, it was found that she has an advanced case of heartworm disease, an enlarged heart and a grade 3 murmur.  We are looking for a special foster home (hospice) that will love and spoil her for however much time she has left.

Dazzle is a sweet, well mannered lady and is best suited for a quiet home with plenty of comfy places to snooze.  She is happy being the only dog in the home or would be content bunking with a large, senior male.  She has earned her retirement and has no tolerance for active dogs in their prime, small dogs or cats.  The rescue will cover all costs for her care.

If you are interested in being a hospice foster for Dazzle, please fill out a foster application or email our foster home coordinator at foster@gdlcf.org for more information.

Dazzle may also be available for adoption to a home with a huge heart and excellent vetting.   If you are interested in adoption, please fill out an adoption application or email our Adoption Coordinator at Cherie@gdlcf.org for more information.
