Justice

Justice was adopted by the Murphy family in February 2026!

Justice (DOB June, 2024) is a petite gal at 90#, but what she lacks in stature she makes up for with big energy and a love of fun.  She adores toys and is especially fond of hard chews and her collection of plushies. Her favorite activities are tug and chase games with her foster brothers, as well as zooming around the yard. While she enjoys the company of her people, she does have an independent side and is happy to entertain herself.

Justice is dog friendly and requires another playful fur friend in the home.  As she tends to pounce on her playmate with no regard for size, any dogs in the home should be on the larger side (>50#).  She also has an unhealthy obsession with cats, so a household without them is best.

She has done well on outings and is confident when meeting new people.  She has no history with children, so any kids in the home should be at least 15 years old. Having someone around frequently would be a big plus for her, as she does best with routine and companionship.

Justice is crate trained and as she hasn’t fully outgrown her inquisitive pup nature, crating is recommended when she’s home alone.  She has mastered the “Sit” command and would benefit from further training. Patience will be key, as she has a very short attention span despite being treat motivated.

Her leash manners are a work in progress so the use of a gentle leader is recommended to reduce her tendency to pull. She also tolerates basic grooming, though it’s best managed as a two-person job. Justice rides well in the car for short trips only, as longer trips seem to cause her stress.  She requires a spacious yard and a secure six-foot fence as she can (and will) jump anything lower.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.  She is fostered in Cocoa and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee.
