Zena joined the Stower’s Family, December 2024!
Zena (DOB December, 2023) is an adorable fawn girl with a sweet nature and a moderate to high energy level. She loves to play and gets along well with the dogs in her foster home. She requires a large, playful fur friend who can match her energy level and exuberant style of play. Zena also requires a spacious yard for zoomies with a fence height of at least 6 feet, as she can jump anything lower.
She is an affectionate girl and loves the company of her people. While she does enjoy some alone time, she will always be nearby to keep a close eye on her family. As Zena forms a strong bond with her loved ones, she can become a little anxious when left alone too long. Ideally, there should be someone generally around or with a lighter work schedule.
Zena is good with children and has been temperament tested with cats. She is well behaved in the home and has good leash manners on a halti or similar device. She knows some basic obedience, but still needs some reinforcement so her responses are reliable. Zena is intact and will be adopted on a spay contract. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
She is fostered in Titusville and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Zena or have questions about her or the adoption process, please email Cherie, our adoption coordinator, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
