Tibby

Adopted by Jim & Dawn, June 2024

Tibby (DOB December, 2022) is a spirited girl who keeps herself busy playing with toys and zooming around the yard.  When it’s time for a break, she’ll seek out a comfy bed and indulge in a lengthy nap.  Tibby loves her people and will take advantage of every opportunity for attention.  She’s always front and center looking for love and she’s over the moon if she scores some belly rubs.

Tibby is a social girl and always enjoys meeting new people.  She is good with children, but as she is not always aware of her size and surroundings, any kids in the home should be older.  Tibby loves other dogs as much as she loves her people.  She plays hard and needs a big buddy in the home that can keep up.  Due to her energy level and need for exercise, she will require a yard with a *6 FOOT FENCE*.  She has no history with cats.

While Tibby has learned her basic obedience commands, she is still young and hasn’t mastered all her good dog behaviors.  She can jump up when excited and still needs some work on her leash manners.  She also tends to get into mischief when home alone, so crating is a must.  Tibby is very food motivated, which will help with further training.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

She is fostered in Deland and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Tibby or have questions about her or the adoption process, please email Cherie, our adoption coordinator, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
