Charlotte

Adopted April 2024 by the Klumpp family

Charlotte (DOB unknown?) enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring the yard and rolling in the grass.  She also adores long naps on the couch and cuddling up close with her humans for love and pets.  Charlotte is an affectionate girl that enjoys the company of people and makes friends easily.  She is very outgoing and is always ready to hop in the car and join you on your adventures around town. We don’t know her true age and we were told 7-10 years old. She’s active and spirited so 10 seems unlikely!

As sweet and loving as Charlotte is, she does have a bit of a mischievous side. She is an accomplished counter surfer, always on the hunt for tasty treats.  She also engages in a bit of thievery, wandering off with personal items like socks and gloves to add to her stash.

Charlotte is a petite gal at 97# and despite being a senior, is very spry and agile, with no mobility issues.  She loads up easily in vehicles and likes going on walks.  Her crate is her happy place and she goes in voluntarily for naps.  She also crates herself at night for bedtime.  Charlotte knows some basic obedience and has good leash manners on a halti.  Though she has no history with cats, she is dog friendly and gentle with children.  Charlotte is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

She is fostered in Merritt Island and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Charlotte or have questions about her or the adoption process, please email Cherie, our adoption coordinator, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
