Beans

Adopted by the Mitchell Family, October 2024

Beans (DOB March, 2020) is a sweet girl who thrives on the love and attention of her people.  She gives back plenty of love in return and is always ready for some snuggle time on the couch.  As she attaches deeply to her family and flourishes in their presence, a home with someone around frequently is best.  She is well behaved with children and would enjoy being part of an active family.

Beans has a moderate energy level and likes playing with toys, her current favorite being her much loved teddy bear.  She also enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to zoom around with them outdoors.  She will require a large fur friend for companionship, as well as a fenced yard.  She’s a bit too rough for small dogs and will chase cats unless they put her in her place.

Beans is very social and is always up for new adventures.  She loves being out and about, visiting different places and making new friends.  She is great in the car and is eager to go cruising with you.  Her leash manners still need some work and a gentle leader or halti is recommended at this time.

She is crate trained and likes to sleep in her crate at night.  She already knows several obedience commands and catches on to new training very quickly.  Beans has a history of counter surfing, so foodstuffs need to be put away.  She does have an allergy to chicken and will inhale her food, so a slow feeder is recommended.   She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

Beans is fostered in Kissimmee and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application (link below) and submit the processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Izzy or have questions about her or the adoption process, please email Cherie, our adoption coordinator, at cherie@gdlcf.org
