Roo was adopted, April 2024
Roo (DOB April, 2022) is a social boy who is quick to make new friends and enjoys accompanying his people on outings around town. He has a moderate energy level and is a fairly well balanced mix of playfulness and couch potatohood. Roo is very affectionate and makes himself right at home in your lap. He’ll also quickly join you on the couch or in bed for some cuddle time.
Roo LOVES food and is quick to explore the garbage and the counters for tasty treats. Foodstuffs will need to be put away and the garbage secured to keep him safe. Roo can sometimes get into mischief when left home alone, so crating is highly recommended. He doesn’t tolerate lengthy crate time well, so having someone generally home would be ideal.
He is dog friendly and very gentle with children, but is not recommended with cats. He knows basic obedience and has reasonably good leash manners. Roo enjoys car rides, walks around the neighborhood and requires a fenced yard. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
He is fostered in Deltona and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make him part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the $20 processing fee. If you are an approved adopter interested in Roo or have questions about him or the adoption process, please contact our adoption coordinator, Cherie, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
