Coda

Coda was adopted, April 2024

Coda (DOB October, 2022) has an exuberant personality, always wanting to be in the middle of the action. She loves having your undivided attention and is the perfect partner to snuggle up with on the couch. Coda is a big fan of toys and loves to parade them around the house, showing off some of her favorites. She also loves all things water and has been known to join her people in the shower.

She has a moderate energy level and would enjoy having an active family that would take her on adventures. Coda is also dog friendly and enjoys outings to the local dog beach. She would be thrilled to have a fur friend of her own and while respectful of smaller dogs, her style of play is best suited to the big guys. Coda is not compatible with cats.

Still being a young dog, she is learning what is expected of her. She tends to forget her manners and will jump up in excitement when saying hello. Her leash manners are also a work in progress, as she can be an extremely strong and determined puller when she wants to be somewhere NOW. Her crate training is moving along, but she still tends to be very vocal in her displeasure until she settles down.

Coda is deeply attached to her people and her ideal home would have someone around frequently. She is not destructive, but has a curious nature and can get into things when not supervised. Crating is recommended when she will be home alone. As she can barrel through the home totally unaware of her size, any children in the household should be a little older. Coda requires a backyard with a 6′ fence. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

Coda is fostered in Tampa and is ready for adoption. If you would like to make her a part of your family, please fill out an application (link below) and submit the processing fee.
