Lucy was adopted by the Ickes Family, January 2023
Lucy is a young (DOB 3/24/22) fawn female that loves being close to her people, especially when it involves cuddling and pets. She has done well meeting adults when out and about, but has not had a lot of exposure to children. Older kids would likely be okay.
She is extremely dog friendly and loves playing with her Dane foster sister. She also gets very excited when it’s time for doggy day camp and thoroughly enjoys her visits. Lucy tends to be a follower and her confidence is bolstered by the dogs in her foster home. She will require a large, playful companion for exercise and to show her the ropes. She has no history with cats.
Lucy loves toys, though she can be a little hard on them at times. She does best with tough toys and is a big fan of tugs games. Lucy’s favorite treats are made by Charlee Bear and she likes to gnaw on Benebones. She tends to be a high energy girl and her style of play is fast and furious. Lucy will require a yard with room to run, as well as a 6 foot fence.
She is crate trained and at present time will require crating when left alone. She enjoys regular walks and has good leash manners on a halti. Lucy is a very smart girl and has already learned a number of commands. She is highly food motivated and picks things up quickly, especially when her favorite treats are involved.
Lucy has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
