Gypsy

Adopted by the Weidner Family, February 2023

Gypsy is a one year old (DOB December, 2021) fawn merle with a sweet nature and a gentle soul. She spent a year living outside and is adjusting well to her new indoor life. Gypsy is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up with you on the sofa. She favors stuffed toys, which she likes to carry around with her. One of her favorites is a stuffed snake that she likes to fling about.

She tends to be shy and unsure at times, but is gaining confidence due to the efforts of her foster home. Her adoptive family will need to lovingly building on this foundation, by slowly introducing her to the fun and excitement life has to offer. Gypsy can have a moment of two of shyness when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and wants their attention. She is fantastic with children and exceptionally gentle around littles. She is dog friendly and is curious about cats.

Gypsy is still very young and is learning her place in the household and what’s expected of her. She very much wants to please and should find her footing quickly. She can be a little mischief prone at times and crating is recommended when she can’t be supervised. Due to her need for crating, her ideal home would have someone around frequently. Gypsy knows Sit, Down, Leave It and Come. She has great leash manners and is enjoying her walks around the quiet neighborhood.

She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
