Gibson

Adopted December 2023 to the Dottore Family!

Gibson (DOB September 2022) is a handsome young pup with energy to burn.  He is always on the go and spends most of his day playing.  Gibson is also a big toy enthusiast.  While he thinks they are all fun, his favorites are squeakies, those with rope and anything he can chew.

Gibson needs a family that will provide him with outlets for his energy and have patience with his young dog shenanigans. He would also benefit from having a large dog buddy that can roughhouse and zoom with him. Gibson likes children, but is recommended for older kids, as he isn’t always aware of his size and surroundings. He is too rough with small dogs and cats, so a home without any is best.  He is also not recommended with chickens.

He can get up to mischief when left home alone, so crating is a must.  Gibson knows some basic obedience and is a quick learner. He is also extremely food motivated, which should make further training easier. Gibson loves rides in the car and enjoys going on walks.  His leash manner still need a little work, but he is making good progress.  He will require a fence yard.  He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.

Gibson is fostered in Orlando and is ready for adoption.  If you would like to make him part of your family, please fill out an application and submit the $20 processing fee.  If you are an approved adopter interested in Gibson or have questions about him or the adoption process, please contact our adoption coordinator, Cherie, at cherie@gdlcf.org.
