Benjamin (July, 2021) is a laid-back, affectionate boy. He bonds quickly and deeply to his people, adoring them beyond measure. He will gently take your hand and wander with you throughout the house, keeping you close and protecting you from dust bunnies and pesky closet monsters. As Ben is strongly attached to his people, his ideal home would have someone around frequently.
Ben has lived much of his young life outdoors and is adjusting well to his new pampered lifestyle. He is dog friendly and identifies strongly with his foster pack, periodically relying on them for confidence building and direction. He would greatly appreciate having a self-assured fur friend to show him the ropes and engage him in gentle play.
He loves the company of children and can frequently be found cuddling up for an afternoon nap with the 6-year-old in his foster home. He is also cat friendly. Ben is well-behaved and doesn’t require crating, knows some obedience commands and has reasonably good leash manners. He requires a fenced yard.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
