Bluu is a handsome one year old (DOB March 2020) mantle male with a sunny personality. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy that loves to cuddle. He is also noisy, has opinions on absolutely everything and loves to talk back. Bluu LOVES toys and must have one with him constantly. When going out to potty, he must first rummage through the toy box to pick out a favorite to take with him. Unfortunately, he hasn’t quite mastered bringing it back.
He is a high energy boy and is fostered in a multi-Dane household. At the very least, he will need another young, large companion with a similar energy level. There should be no small dogs in the home and definitely no cats, as he will relentlessly chase them. Bluu requires a yard with room to run and a 6 foot fence. Due to his rough style of play, he is not a candidate for the dog park.
Bluu requires a Dane savvy home that understands the breed and will provide structure and stability. His adoptive home should also have someone home more often than not. Bluu would also thrive in an active household, as he loves walks, car rides, going places and meeting new people.
He knows his basic commands, walks well on a leash and has excellent recall. He also has very good front door and mealtime manners. Bluu is very responsive to tone of voice, so it’s fairly easy to bring the young Dane craziness to a temporary halt and gain his attention. Bluu is crate trained, but can be left out as he is not destructive in the home. Due to his high energy level and lack of history with children, kids should be older.
He is neutered and gastropexied, up to date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm preventative.
