Emmy

Adopted by the Chaney Family, July 2021

Emmy is a merle senior, DOB May 2011 who came into rescue when her owner had to move. Emmy is somewhat shy meeting new people but once she warms up to you she won’t leave your side.

She loves stuffed animals and chasing squirrels and of course FOOD, she loves to eat and does a happy dance when its meal time! Because of her love of food she is known to counter surf. Emmy also enjoys going for walks.

Emmy was crated trained before she came into rescue and enjoys her time in her crate and goes into it often without prompting.

She would likely do okay with older, respectful children but we have no known history with her and children or cats either. She would be happy as an only dog or with another mellow dog, on the larger size.

She is spayed, recently had a dental and is up to date on vaccines as well as on a monthly heartworm preventative and a daily joint supplement.
