Vader is a one year old male (DOB September 2019) who was turned into rescue after his family could no longer keep him.
He is being fostered with a female boxer and female boxer mix and he does great with both, he really loves to play with other dogs. Loves toys and will play tug for a few hours a day with his fur sibling.
His foster home wants him to go to a home with other large playful dogs as he really does enjoy the playtime!
Vader has some separation anxiety and does not like it when his people are not in the same room with him and will cry, whine and bark until he can see you or be with you.
He has not destroyed anything in the house when has not been crated but that is in part to good doggie proofing. If something is available to him he could try and make it into his own new toy!
Vader is a super cuddler so prefers someone that is home more than away and would really like it if he could share the couch. He would be ecstatic if he could share a bed!
We don’t know much about his background as he bounced around before coming to Rescue. He seems to do fine with most people but can be standoffish to some new people.
He does need work on leash work as he does pull quite a bit.
He is housebroken and is not crated currently. He is neutered and gastropexied as well as up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
