Bear is one of the kindest, sweetest dogs you will ever meet! He is friendly with all people and dogs!
- There was a stray cat on our back porch and he did not bark or growl (as my dogs were doing) he just got excited.
- He loves to run around and play outside. He would enjoy a large yard so he can get up his speed.
- Housebroken (no accidents!)
- Crate Trained
- Eats in his crate (because of my dogs)
- Does not get on furniture
- The first few nights he slept in his crate, now he sleeps on a bed outside of the crate. He stays in his bed until you tell him it is time to go outside in the morning.
- We have not seen any toy or food guarding from him.
- Great with children 7+ (no experience younger than that)
- Great with smaller dogs (14, 30 pounds)
- He would enjoy adults, kids, and /or dogs to play with, and a few toys 🙂
- He could be a single dog
- He knows “sit”
- He takes pills easily
- He is interested in fuzzy slippers, but does not destroy them- only mouths them
- He has tried to mouth a few times while playing
- Knows the word “no”
- He does not bark frequently
- He has never been left alone
- Bear suffered from infections on his feet and nails in the past, and he will need careful treatment of his nails
- Bear is neutered and received a dental and gastropexy on 5/26/20
- Bear is on monthly Trifexis
