Huey (DOB 05/01/2015) is an absolute sweetheart, and in true Dane fashion, is a Velcro dog. He will do anything for a good rub! Huey has done really well with his foster sister Dane, who tests him regularly. He shares his treats, food, water, bones, and bed with her. He walks well on leash, and is very responsive to his commands. He hasn’t shown any aggression towards other dogs, and ignores squirrels, cats, and ducks! He will bark to alert if someone knocks, and sometimes barks when new people approach him, but stops once they pet him. He has not been tested in his foster home with children yet. He leans, and nudges often, so small children would likely get bumped too. His energy levels are low key, but will play with his foster Dane sister whenever she provokes him to. Huey is really a great dog and a pleasure to have in his foster home.
