Lewie

April 2019 – Adopted by Rogers Family

Lewie (DOB March 2016) is a harlequin male surrendered to rescue as the family didn’t have enough time for him. He previously lived with children and his foster home has children 3 years an up so a home with similar aged children would be fine for Lewie. We think Lewie spent most of his time with his immediate family and didn’t meet many strangers so he is a bit cautious with new people and new situations. Overall Lewie is a calm dog but can be nervous when unsure of something. He is used to being around someone so he would be happiest with a family that is home often and one that he would not be left alone for long periods of time. Lewie has been good with all dogs and cats he has met while in rescue. He enjoys playing with the female Dane in his foster home. Lewie does great on walks with the help of a gentle leader. He tends to like women over men and can be very Velcro and affectionate once he knows you are his special person!
Lewie is house broken, neutered, up to date on vaccines,  heartworm tested negative, on a monthly prevention and is microchipped.
