Jesse

Adopted by the Harris Family ~ March 2019
Meet Jesse (DOB January 2016), he is a neutered and gastropexied male, weighing in at 110 pounds.  Jesse is new to rescue and will be available after the holidays.
Jesse is very affectionate, seeks out attention from anyone and everyone. Socially, he greets everyone well – people, all sizes of dogs, and cats. Loves cuddling up to everyone he meets, and he will lean into you and slide down your body until he shows his belly.  Loves the rope, playing fetch, walks/runs with his foster mom or with other dogs.
Jesse was previously allowed on furniture so we are trying to work on redirecting but he is known to slowly creep onto the couch to be with a human!  Additionally he does need some ongoing work on leash walking as he pulls a lot, his foster home is working with him on this and using a head collar with good results.
Jesse is also a playful dog and we want him to go to a home with another large playful dog.  He likely is okay with older children, 10+ however he has not lived with children.  He is crate trained however he is mostly okay when not crated as long as you do a little Dane proofing (shoes put away and food put away).
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested negative and on a monthly preventative.
