Cyrus

September 2019, Cyrus joined the Gili Family!

Cyrus (DOB December 2017) is a wonderfully goofy blue male who is about 130 pounds.  Cyrus came into rescue when his owners could no longer care for his medical issues, primarily his skin issues.  We have cleared up most of the skin issues however he has very active environmental allergies and is currently being treated by a dermatologist.  He is currently undergoing immunotherapy to help him live a more comfortable life.  He has a recheck late August and we hope to have a better idea of his status.  Because of the likelihood of ongoing skin issues when Cyrus is ready for adoption he will need someone able and willing to continue whatever care is needed to ensure he remains healthy aka frequent vet visits 🙂

Cyrus is crate trained and housebroken but would get into things if he wasn’t crated or being watched.  He is a young guy and full of energy but a big push over.  He does fine with cats and other dogs however needs supervision around small dogs as he isn’t always mindful of his size.

Cyrus also is on the slobbery end of the spectrum so one must not be afraid of such things!

Cyrus is neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested negative and on a monthly preventative.
