Gunner adopted August 2018
Gunner (approximate DOB January 2013) is a fawn merle male, weighing about 100 pounds. Gunner was turned into rescue after his owner had to move and couldn’t keep him. Gunner was not in great physical shape when he came into rescue and is very thin and being dewormed. He seems to have a quiet and laid back personality and has met several Danes and cats without issue. He seems to be most comfortable with calmer dogs as we guess he is at least 5 and could possibly be older; he does not seem overly playful however we are still getting to know him. We have learned that Gunner does have some storm anxiety so we are working on medications and/or if he just needs his family with him. Gunner if very friendly with people and wants to please. He is crate trained and house broken. Gunner is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, on a monthly prevention and microchipped.
