Berni is 2 year old (DOB April 2016) black female who came into rescue recently. Her owners boarded her at a local boarding facility and then left her there – decided they didn’t want a dog. We are not sure how someone can do that but know we can find a much better, caring family that would never leaver her behind! She is just about 100 pounds and a very active girl who loves to run. We are still getting to know her but she she seems to be okay with male Danes and not fond of cats or small dogs. We were told she was good with children however we cannot say for sure as we don’t have any real history from Berni’s previous owners. For this reason we also think she would do best in a home with bigger children, 8 years or older. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative) and on heartworm preventative.
