Milo adopted, November 2017
Meet Milo! Milo is 5 year old (DOB August 2012) fawn male. He is a gentle sweet guy who was turned into rescue after his owner moved into hospice.
He is very laid back with a soft mouth when taking treats or toys. He gets occasional playful energy bursts so a fenced home without very young children or toddlers is recommended.
Milo knows basic obedience commands and walks well on his leash (gentle leader). He is a great car rider and likes to be with his people. He is vocal at times and takes a little while to warm up to people. Milo currently is being fostered with a female Dane and recently met a male Dane and did fine with him. He were told he previously lived with a smaller dog but we don’t have much more information than that. He has been around cats briefly and seemed okay with them in the short introductions. Milo had lost quite a bit of weight before coming into rescue so he is back on track and gaining weight nicely; he has a healthy, normal appetite. We also started him on a joint supplement to aid in good health!
Milo is crate trained but is not destructive so he does not need to be!
Milo is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and on monthly heartworm prevention.
