Meet Oppa (pronounced Ah-pa)
Oppa is a 4.5 year old (DOB November 2011) black male who is a tall, leggy guy! Oppa came into rescue due to a divorce; he is underweight and we are working to put weight on him. Seemed the stress of the divorce affected this sensitive guy. Oppa lives with a small female terrier and cat in his foster home and does fine with both. Oppa also lived with children so we will consider homes with small children for Oppa. His foster home calls him a sensitive guy who gets very attached and is a true velcro Dane – wants to be with you, anywhere, all the time! He is fairly well behaved with his obedience manners and also with leash manners. Oppa is however a big leaner – as are most Danes! He is not an overly active Dane but isn’t a complete couch potato either, he likes to run around but not for very long, just enough to stretch his very long legs. He does like his “babies” which are his stuffed animals; he likes to show them off and walk around the house with one in his mouth when he is very excited about something!
Oppa is crate trained and house broken and is not destructive. Oppa is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heart worm tested negative and on a monthly prevention.
