Lucy

Meet the new girl!
Lucy is a 1 year old (DOB July 2015) female fawn Dane with natural ears weighing in at a perfect 105 pounds. She was surrendered as her owner was working very long hours and knew Lucy deserved a better life.  Lucy has done great in her foster home. She is well mannered, obedient, not destructive, and overall a sweet, loving young girl. She walks exceptionally well on leash and loves her daily walks. In public Lucy has been very friendly and gentle with people she has met including children. She is excited to meet other dogs (happy excitement) and has interacted nicely. She does well with the female Dane in her foster home.
As with all young Danes, Lucy has an abundance of energy and needs plenty of daily physical and mental exercise. It’s true…a tired Dane is a good Dane. She is fully house trained and crate trained. Lucy is spayed, current on all shots and heartworm preventative,
micro-chipped, and in overall good health. She did come into rescue with ear infections which are currently being treated and some very minor skin issues.
Watch for updates as we learn more about Lucy but so far she seems to be a wonderful Dane.
